Another great place to breathe. It's a Parish Church so there are a lot more amenities - small Chapel at the back, prayer rooms, bookstore, goods store - it's part of the larger Don Bosco compound that houses the School, a center for displaced youths, a bakery (must try), a resto (coffee and saints - must try) and is a favorite for weddings.
Also, pro tip, free parking if you're ok with walking a bit to a few restos near it - just dont be too long or at least pray there.
There is also a car wash and a water refilling station.
St. John Bosco Parish Church is one of the beautiful church within Makati area build in the mid 70's and is situated along Arnaiz Avenue and Amorsolo Street, one of the best landmark if you're not familiar within the area. This church can be best place for wedding or baptismal where the altar is quite uniquely designed as one of the best centerpiece I've seen.
My mom goes to church here regularly, but it's my first time to attend an actual wedding here. They're very thorough with the services and the flowers. The venue is airconditioned and quite comfortable, and there are even hooks behind the pews where you can hang your bags onto. The altar is stunning!
There are comfort rooms to the left side of the main church.
The only thing that gets a bit stressful here is the parking. Especially on a rainy day. But if you're one of the people who tend to arrive early, this shouldn't be a problem.
♥️♥️♥️
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’
Matthew 4:4
We have a solemn visit to St. John Bosco. Peace and silent should I say.
